Belgi\u00eb\/Belgium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rob-schouten\"><strong>Rob Schouten<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In zijn debuutbundel Welcome hygiene uit 1996 liet de Vlaamse dichter Paul Bogaert (1968) onmiddellijk zien dat hij geen zachte heelmeester wilde zijn. Gedichten in stevige taal, geen doekjes voor het bloeden en om te pappen en nat te houden. \u2018<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulbogaert.be\/gedichten\/bundels\/welcome-hygiene\/inhoud-welcome-hygiene\/twee-keer\/\">Langs deze weg wens ik, lief,\u00a0te hebben [\/] gezegd: het gaat pijn doen.<\/a><\/span>\u2019 Dwingende woorden, ook als het om de liefde gaat: \u2018<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulbogaert.be\/gedichten\/bundels\/welcome-hygiene\/inhoud-welcome-hygiene\/calm-ic-cyclus\/\">Kom over mij. \/ Bestraf elke spier. \/ Rust, leid mij af.<\/a><\/span>\u2019 hij kreeg er de driejaarlijkse Prijs voor Letterkunde Po\u00ebzie van de provincie Vlaams-Brabant voor. Inmiddels verschenen twee volgende bundels, Circulaire systemen (2002) en AUB (2006).<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De stevige toon van de heldere oratie bleef, maar het lijkt wel of Bogaert zijn lezers nog minder rust wil gunnen. Neem het lange gedicht \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/www.paulbogaert.be\/gedichten\/bundels\/aub\/inhoud\/toespraak\">Toespraak<\/a>\u2019 dat begint met de regels: \u2018Ik zal u toespreken in het kader van de nacht waarin men niet slapen kan. \/ Ik zal niet ontkennen dat ik u daarvoor nodig heb en dat ik u daar[v]oor, althans in het begin, in de ogen kijken zal.\u2019 Het is voor de lezer van Bogaerts gedichten bijna onmogelijk om in z\u2019n luie stoel te blijven zitten. Hij wordt, als de hoofdpersoon in Clockwork Orange, hardhandig gedwongen om de wereld van nu in ogenschouw te nemen en zichzelf de ethische vragen van onze tijd te stellen.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daarmee geeft deze dichter een nogal flinke draai aan de Vlaamse po\u00ebzie, die immers langdurig vooral aan lyrische en woordenrijke zelfexpressie offerde. Net als in het Vlaamse proza lijkt nu ook door de dichtkunst aldaar een nieuwe wind te waaien, met Bogaert als een van de aanblazers. Daarmee is hij niet alleen een van de meest bijdetijdse maar ook een van de meest interessante dichters van het moment, eentje die in plaats van op het gedistantieerde papier, je op je huid zit.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">SCHOUTEN, Rob \u2013 [zonder titel].
